This is by far, the best lemon cake I have ever tasted, if I do say so myself!
Ingredients:
125g Self Raising Flour
125g Caster Sugar
100g Margarine
2 Eggs
1 tbsp Lemon Zest
2 tbsp Lemon Juice
1 tbsp Lemon Curd
1 tbsp Poppy Seeds
Method:
Preheat oven to 190 degrees, 170 fan, gas mark 5.
Place all ingredients into a bowl and mix together until smooth.
Pour ingredients into a cake tin lined with greaseproof/baking paper.
Place into oven for 40-45 minutes.
Place cake onto a wire rack to cool.
Coat the top with lemon curd, around 2tbsp, and enjoy straight away or once cool.

Recipe Project 365
Hi, thanks for joining me.
I will be creating recipes for you to try including both savoury and sweet dishes which are good for all the family. Trust me, they taste spectacular.
This blog has been created as my project 365, whereby I will be posting recipe's and not photographs. Although I will aim to provide you photos! Also I will post 365 recipes this year, but I might cheat and give you a few at a time...
